Kunzelman, LaSetta Marie (Marriage - 30 May 1938)
A wedding of interest to Abbotsford residents took place Monday, May 30th, when LeRoy Stump of La Crosse, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Stump of Abbotsford, took as his bride Miss LaSetta Marie Kunzelman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick A. Kunzelman, of Baraboo. The marriage vows were exchanged at ten in the morning at the Lutheran church in Baraboo.
The bride was charming in a floor length gown of white taffeta with a bolero. Her shoulder length veil hung from a white turban. A shoulder bouquet of roses, lilies-of-the-valley, sweet peas and white gardenias added to the loveliness of the bride.
To the strains of Lohengrin’s Wedding March played on the pipe organ, the bridesmaid, the bride on the arm of her father, advanced to meet the groom who was attended by his brother-in-law, Arvel Burris, New London, formerly of Abbotsford, Wis.
The bridesmaid, Miss Thelma Towers of Madison wore rose pink lace, a matching picture hat with a velvet band and other accessories in dubonnet. Her shoulder bouquet was similar to that of the bride’s.
After the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served to immediate relatives at the Hotel Warren.
The young couple are spending a week at a lake near Wautoma.
The groom is employed as Produce Manager for the Kroger Grocery Co.
